Cardinal Tetra very similar to the Neon Tetras. They are easy to care for. Very peaceful schooling fish that are suitable for a variety of community aquariums. It is recommended to have groups of 6 or more. The bigger the school the better. To be kept with other small non-aggressive tank mates as Cardinals Tetras have very little defenses.
Please Note: It is Not recommended to start Cardinal Tetras as your first fish as they do not do well in new aquarium setups as they thrive in stable water conditions.
Tankmates examples: Black Skirt Tetra, Dwarf Gourami, Guppies, Green Neon Tetra, Mollies, Harlequin Rasbora, Zebra Danios, Corydoras, Dwarf Plecos and more.
